Getting Around
It's possible to make a roundtrip of this most southerly part of Jordan by public transport
from Aqaba in three to four days. Hiring a car from Aqaba makes accessing the South
Coast and Wadi Rum much easier. You don't need a 4WD for Wadi Rum as you can drive
to the Visitors Centre on tarmac. From there, unless you are an expert sand driver, it's ad-
visable to take an excursion with a Bedouin driver.
