includes steam bath, massage, hot stones, scrubbing and 'body conditioning'. The baths
are popular with tourists and locals alike, and now several hotels, including the Amra
Palace Hotel and the Petra Palace Hotel, offer excellent hammam facilities too. Book in
advance; women can request a female attendant.

In the passage under the Silk Road Hotel, near the en-
trance of Petra, this hammam has a completely separate bath area for women, with female
attendants.
Salome Turkish Bath

Entered via a grotto displaying old farming imple-
ments, this bathhouse has an atmospheric sitting area for relaxing with a herb tea after
bathing. It's located near Al-Anbat Hotel III.
