The delivery model of cloud computing called infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
provides users with infrastructure services that depend upon virtualization
techniques. IaaS services provide have a user-based service model. With increase
popularity of cloud computing, there demand for more scalable and flexible IaaS
model with fine gained access control mechanism.
In this paper for provisioning and managing users and virtualized resources in
IaaS propose domain-based framework. Cloud service provider delegates its
functions to each domain. Domains manage their users and virtualized resources
assignee from cloud services provider using role based security policy.
Role based security policy demonstrate in computer security communities. The
role-based access control (RBAC) use intermediary concept called role for
provide an indirection mechanism between users and permissions.
Domain based framework provides scalable user resource management, domain-
based and flexible pricing.
To support the services cloud computing consist of three components depending
on its deployment models. That are 1)hardware and facilities 2)software kernel
and 3)virtualization that classify the services and application of cloud computing
like computing and storage resource) cloud software development platform, and
3)cloud software application.
Finally Discussed about how to design and implement proof-of-concept prototype
by modifying existing Eucalyptus that has no notion of roles for its access
control.[9]
In 2010 Jianfeng Zhana, Lei Wanga,Weisong Shib, Shmin Gonga,Xiutao Zanga
discussed about Resource Provisioning. Resources providers needs to provision
resources for heterogeneous workloads in different cloud scenarios as more and more
services providers choose cloud platforms which is provided by third party resource
providers. They have focused on some important issue.
Propose coordinated resource provisioning solution for heterogeneous workloads
in two typical cloud scenarios. First is a large organization operates a private
cloud for two heterogeneous workloads .Second, a large organization or two
service providers running heterogeneous workloads revert to a public cloud.
Build agile system, called Phoenix Cloud that enables resource provider to create
coordinated runtime environments on demand for heterogeneous workloads when
they are consolidated on the cloud site.
The Comprehensive evaluation has been performed in experiments. Typical
heterogeneous workload traces: parallel batch jobs and web services, the
experiments show that:

In a private cloud scenario, when the throughput is almost same like that of a
dedicated cluster system, solution decreases the configuration size of a cluster by
about 40%.

In public cloud scenario, solution decreases not only the total resource
consumption but also the peak resource consumption maximally to 31% with
respect to that of EC2 plus right scale solution.
