Fig. 2. Types of Cloud
Public cloud, Private cloud and hybrid cloud are types of cloud computing.
Public cloud, Private cloud and hybrid cloud are types of cloud computing.
The Public clouds are run by third parties and the applications from different
customers are too mixed together on the cloud's servers, storage systems, and
networks. The datacenter hardware and software is what we will call a Cloud. It
is external services clouds based on pay-per-use model. The Public cloud or
external cloud define cloud computing with traditional mainstream where
resources are provisioned on self-services basis over the internet.
The Private clouds are exclusively built and managed by a company's own IT
organization or by a cloud provider. We use the term Private Cloud to refer to
internal datacenters of a business or other organization, not made available to the
general public. The benefits with private cloud are higher security and flexibility
to manage the cloud according to the need.
The hybrid cloud environment consisting multiple internal and external
providers. The Hybrid clouds combination of both public and private clouds. It
can help to provide on-demand, externally provisioned scale, higher security and
efficiency. Hybrid Clouds provide more secure control of data and applications
and that allow various parties to access information over the Internet.
The Differences between Cloud and Grid Computing
The Grid computing is distributed computing and parallel computing where a super
and virtual computer is composed of a clusterof computer to perform tasks. That
motivated by real problems appearing in advanced scientific research. Cloud
computing provides on-demand resource provisioning.
