Double-click on the chart title text that is now visible inside the chart object and type the
following title:
Product Line Returns by Reason

Click on the pie chart to select it again.

Under the
Chart Labels
grouping in the
Properties
pane, double-click the
Show
Va l u e s
property.
The Show Values dialog box opens.

In the dialog box, click on the check box next to the
Slice names
option.

In the
Va l u e s
drop-down menu, select the
Percentage
option.

Click
OK
to close the Show Values dialog box.
10.
Double-click on the
Legend
property.
The Legend dialog box opens.
11.
Uncheck the
Show legend
check box and click
OK
.
12.
Double-click on the
Padding
property.
The Padding dialog box opens.
13.
Add
20
pixels of padding on the top, on the bottom, and to the left of the chart object.
14.
Click
OK
to close the Padding dialog box.
15.
Double-click on the
Size & Overflow
property.
The Size & Overflow dialog box opens.
16.
Set the
Height
to
250
pixels and the
Width
to
350
pixels.
17.
Click
OK
to close the dialog box.
Yo u r p i e chart design should look similar to Figure 6.37 at this point.
Step 11: Format the Combination Chart
The combination chart should stretch under the two other charts in the dashboard. We will also
adjust the palettes of the Series line and bars.
1.
Click on the combination chart to select it.
2.
In the
Properties
pane, change the
Title
property from
Hide
to
Show
.
3.
Double-click on the chart title text that is now visible inside the chart object and type the
following title:
Shipping Volumes - Actual vs. Expected
.
4.
Click on the combination chart to select it again.
5.
Double-click on the
Legend
property.
The Legend dialog box opens.
6.
In the
Preset
area of the Legend dialog box, select the
Align Bottom Center
option.
7.
Click
OK
to close the Legend dialog box.
