Drag two Query objects from the Insertable Objects pane, one into each of the place-
holders to the right of the Join object.
5.
Rename the two new Query objects- Query1 to New_Model_Query and Query2 to
Legacy_Query .
6.
Drag a SQL object from the Insertable Objects pane to the right of the Legacy_Query .
After completing these steps, your queries pane should look like Figure 4.13.

Step 3: Build New_Model_Query
1.
Double-click New_Model_Query .
2.
From the Source tab of the Insertable Objects pane, drag the following query items
into the query from the Sales and Marketing (query) folder and Product forecast
(query) namespace:
Ye a r and Month query items from the Time query subject
The Country query item from the Branch query subject
The Product query item from the Products query subject
Expected volume and Forecast revenue query items from the Product forecast fact
query subject

In the Data Items pane, click Ye a r and Shift-click Product .

Change the Pre-Sort property to Sort ascending to ensure that the query itself is sorted
by Product name.
5.
From the To o l b o x tab of the Insertable Objects pane, drag the Filter object into the
Detail Filters pane.
