We will be using the
Inventory (query)
namespace inside the
Sales and Marketing
(query)
folder.
Step 2: Set Up Report Queries
This step creates a main query that is a union of two queries.
1.
In the
Explorer Bar
, hover over the
Query Explorer
tab and select the
Queries
folder.
2.
Rename
Query1
to
Main_Query
.
3.
Drag a
Union
object from the
Insertable Objects
pane and place it to the right of the
Main_Query
.
The work area for the queries should look like Figure 4.2.

Drag two
Query
objects from the
Insertable Objects
pane, one into each of the place-
holders to the right of the
Union
object.
5.
Rename the two new
Query
objects:
Query1
to
All_Products
and
Query2
to
Products_in_Inventory
.
Step 3: Build the Products_in_Inventory Query
1.
Double-click the
Products_in_Inventory
query. The Query Definition dialog box is
displayed.
