From the
Data Items
tab in the
Insertable Objects
pane, double-click the following
items in the
Expected_Volume_by_Branch
query to add them to the list:
•
Branch
•
Expected volume

In the work area, click inside the list object to select an item.

In the
Properties
pane, click
Select Ancestor
and select the
List
object.
This list will be converted into a nested header, so the headers will be removed and text
will be added to describe the data in the list.

On the toolbar, click the
Bold
button.
6.
On the toolbar, click the
Right
button.
7.
In the
Properties
pane, change the
Column Titles
property to
Hide
.
8.
From the toolbar, click the
Unlock (currently locked)
button.
9.
From the
To o l b o x
tab of the
Insertable Objects
pane, drag a
Te x t I t e m
object into the
first column to the left of
Branch
.
The Text dialog box is displayed.
10.
Type
Expected Volume for:
and click
OK
.
11.
From the toolbar, click the
Lock (currently unlocked)
button.
12.
To remove any padding and make the list look like another detail row, click the first col-
umn and Ctrl-click the second column to select both list column bodies.
13.
In the
Properties
pane, double-click the
Classes
property to open the dialog box.
14.
Click the class (
List column body cell
) in the
Selected classes
pane.
15.
Click the
Remove
button in the middle of the dialog box.
16.
Click
OK
to close the dialog box.
With the padding removed, no spacing exists between columns.
17.
In the work area, click the
List Column Body
for
Expected Volume
to select it.
18.
In the
Properties
pane, double-click the
Size & Overflow
property to open the dialog box.
19.
Change the
Width
item to
60
pixels and click
OK
to close the dialog.
The list data container should resemble what's shown in Figure 2.30.
