Final report
Shipping managers are interested in learning more about shipping patterns against expectations.
While product forecasts are tracked by sales branch, the manager would like to see the retailers
(and their locations) that are receiving the shipments.
The manager would like to be able to see the results for one specific sales branch or all sales
branches for a selected time period. Figure 2.27 shows an example of the final report design.
Since the levels of detail are fixed for this report, a relational data model will be queried. Two dif-
ferent queries will be created to retrieve the expected and actual numbers. To simplify the devel-
opment, two list reports will be created and tested.
After they have been tested and reformatted, one list will be moved into the header of
another list and a master-detail relationship will be defined.
