QUICK TIPS FOR GROWING PEAS
STORAGE
Fresh peas will store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Peas
can be frozen and kept in the freezer for several months. They
can be dried and used for future plantings.
Zucchini
Zucchini summer squash needs to be harvested regularly, starting
when the squash is 4 to 8 inches long. Tiny zucchini are a delicacy
for many chefs and will add a wonderful note to your smoothies.
They are tender and taste best when small. They can grow several
inches overnight, so check them every few days. If you happen to
miss one and it grows too large, harvest it anyway so the plant will
produce more.
