In-Depth Information
If you have a plastic tunnel, keep the plastic clean by sweeping off
any debris and giving the outside a good spray with your hose. Look
for tears or holes in the plastic. You can cover small tears with tape,
but if you see larger tears or several holes it is best to replace the
plastic altogether. Make sure the hoops and plastic are secure; if you
live in a windy area, bury the plastic along the sides to make the
structure more secure. If you will not be growing or using the tunnel
over the winter, take it down and store the material. The materials
will definitely last longer this way.
