Stonehedge Inn
CONTINENTAL Built as a summer vacation home
in 1898, the Stonehedge Inn is in the woods west of downtown Hood River
down a long gravel driveway off Cascade Drive. When you finally find the
restaurant, you'll feel as though you've arrived at a remote Maine lodge. Inside
the inn, there's a small lounge with a bar taken from an old tavern, and several
dining rooms, all of which feel genuinely old-fashioned. Although the entree
menu sticks to traditional Continental dishes such as steak Diane, rack of lamb,
and chicken cordon bleu, you'll find some more creative offerings, such as grilled
goat cheese with roasted garlic or seared ahi tuna, on the appetizer menu.
