credits his innovative approach to design partly to his own intuition, but
largely to the inspiration and creative collaboration of his partners: “All of
us understand what we're looking for—to us it's what makes common
sense. Some of the things that have been built around us just don't make
sense.”
Valle's work has received national and international recognition, includ-
ing honors for his contributions to urban design and awards for his inno-
vations in multi-media. Recently, several projects by CVV were selected by
an international jury of architects for “The Other Modern,” an exhibition
in Bologna representing alternative architecture and urban planning for the
twenty-first century.Valle himself is constantly exploring new possibilities
in design and the technology that supports it, like computer animation to
show how a proposed community would actually function. For Valle, the
next project is always the most exciting one. “My most important work,”
he declares with enthusiasm, “has not yet been done.”
