Pinhão has virtually no sights, but it makes for a handy home base. Even if you don't ar-
rive by train, be sure to check out the
train station
—adorned with tiles illustrating the
people and traditions of the countryside. A few accommodations in and near Pinhão don't
take credit cards; the lone

is in the BPI bank, on the left near the west end of town
(toward Casal de Loivos).
