In-Depth Information
boiling points is limited to one radical per molecule. Some of these difficulties inhibit
execution of the Property Estimation run.
Workshop 2.3 Upon removal of those methods with problems from the property
specifications, the execution is satisfactory despite the warning message concerning
the boiling point and vapor pressure. Note that the two methods for estimating the
boiling point are about 10 K apart. Notice also by comparison to the database values
presented in Workshop 2.1 that the estimated boiling points by both methods are off
by5to15 F.
Workshop 2.4 Comparing the critical temperatures predicted by Workshops 2.3 and
2.4, where the experimental boiling point is included in the data, the Workshop 2.3
data average about 589 K, and the Workshop 2.4 data, 597 K. The critical pressure
does not depend on the boiling point.
