that follows it have been bypassed. It would be wise to refer to the process flowsheet
shown in Figure 12.8, where the failed blocks are clearly identified. What could be
misleading is the message at the end of the execution history, which states that the
loop $OLVER01 has converged. A look at the feed to the RadFrac block shows that
it is significantly different from that of ExampleTwelve-3b. It is important that the
remainder of the flowsheet produce the proper feed. The difficulty is that the sequence
of calculations and the initial estimate of zeros for the variables of stream 6, the tear
stream chosen by Aspen Plus, do not assure that the feed to the distillation column
