governments, factor endowments of regions,
preferences of tourists in the international
market and regional social-political stability
together direct tourism investment towards
certain regions in a country. In this context, it
should be kept in mind that unless relatively
undeveloped regions in a country are made
attractive through various financial, fiscal and
other possible means, any potential of the
tourism industry may not be able to be used
as a tool to decrease regionally imbalanced
development.
