iv. Extension of deadline
Article 51(3) of the Regulation provides that at any time during these three
months, the Commission may, at the request of the applicant, extend the
deadline for the consultations by a maximum of three months.

v. Scrutiny of amendments
Article 51(4) provides that where, following the appropriate consultations
referred to in Art 51(3), the details published in accordance with Art 50(2) have
been substantially amended the Commission shall repeat the scrutiny referred
to in Art 50.

Article 51(5) provides that the notice of opposition, the reasoned statement of
opposition and the related documents which are sent to the Commission in
accordance with Art 51(1) to (4) shall be in one of the official languages of the
Union.
vii. Delegated acts
Article 51(6) provides that in order to establish clear procedures and deadlines
for opposition, the Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts, in
accordance with Art 56, complementing the rules of the opposition procedure.

viii. Implementing acts
The Commission may adopt implementing acts laying down detailed rules on
procedures, form and presentation of the oppositions. Those implementing acts
shall be adopted in accordance with the examination procedure referred to in
Art 57(2).

27. Decision on registration
(a) Rejection of application
Article 52(1) provides that where, on the basis of the information available to
the Commission from the scrutiny carried out pursuant to the first subpara-
graph of Art 50(1), the Commission considers that the conditions for registra-
tion are not fulfilled, it shall adopt implementing acts rejecting the application.
Those implementing acts shall be adopted in accordance with the examination
procedure referred to in Art 57(2).

Article 52(2) provides that if the Commission receives no notice of opposition
or no admissible reasoned statement of opposition under Art 51, it shall adopt
