Creating reports using OLAP cubes
In the
Using out-of-the-box Service Manager Reports and cubes
recipe, we showed you
how to use Microsoft Excel to access the OLAP cubes that are shipped with Service Man-
ager.
Under certain circumstances, you might want to use these OLAP cubes to create reports
hosted in SQL Server Reporting Services and make them available to your end users
through the console or web browser.
In this recipe, we will use Report Builder to create and publish a report using the data
stored in the Service Manager OLAP cubes.
