organic aerosol fraction in summer and it is mostly secondary. The preliminary
model results indicate that secondary organic aerosols are produced mainly from
the biogenic precursors. Another approach using Volatility Basis Set will be tested
in the near future as well (Robinson et al., 2007; Donahue et al., 2009).
