Getting There & Away
AIR
Christchurch Airport (CHC; 03-358 5029; www.christchurchairport.co.nz ; Durey Rd) is the South Island's
main international gateway (see the transport chapter for international flights). The newly
modernised and expanded airport has excellent facilities, including baggage storage, hire-
car counters, ATMs, foreign-exchange offices and an i-SITE visitor information centre.

that they serve:
