The bedrock is characterized by metamorphic rock belonging to highland series
which is dominated by charnokites, quartzites, marbles, garnetiferous gneisses and
granulites mixed with igneous intrusions (Cooray

), Hematite (Fe

with trace amounts of uranium oxide (UO

) and Green Cinnabar (Cr
