obvious variations were found in the spectrum of DCPD-UPR-TO5. First,
the characteristic features of the TO conjugated trienes at 3012, 991, and
964 cm 1 were not observed. Second, the intensity of the methylene peak
at 2963 cm 1 greatly increased relative to that of the C ¼ O peak at around
1730 cm 1 . These changes indicate that the conjugated trienes on TO had
reacted with the C ¼ C bonds on DCPD-UPR.
