Virtual Circuit Identifier. A value to identify a circuit in ATM.

VCI

virtual path identifier. A value to identify a path in ATM. VPI

VPN Virtual Private Network. A framework that provides private IP networking
over a public infrastructure such as the Internet.

VPNv4 Virtual Private Network-Internet Protocol version 4. A keyword in
commands to indicate VPN-IPv4 prefixes. These prefixes are VPN addresses.

VRF VPN routing/forwarding instance. Consists of an IP routing table, a
forwarding table, a set of interfaces that use the forwarding table, and a set of rules
and routing protocols that determine what goes into the forwarding table.
