Excel Restaurant
MAP GOOGLE MAP
(RP Rd; meals from ?60; 7am-11pm) Not to be confused with the seedy downstairs bar, the
popular Excel rooftop restaurant above Hotel Lalaji Bay brings a 'Havelock' menu to the
city. Burgers, grilled seafood, and Israeli dishes are all good, and its fully stocked bar
makes it a great place to meet fellow travellers.

Annapurna

(MG Rd; mains from ?40) An excellent veg option that looks like a high-school cafeteria and
serves consistently good dosas and rich North Indian-style curries.
Lighthouse Residency
MAP GOOGLE MAP
(MA Rd; mains ?80-800; 11am-11pm) The best place for seafood in Port Blair, if not the An-
damans, where you select from the display of red snapper, crab or tiger prawns to barbe-
cue, grill or cook in the tandoor and served with rice, chips and a cold Kingfisher. There's
a cheaper second branch (Marina Park; mains ?80-400) in an outdoor shack near the water.

MULTICUISINE $$$
GOOGLE MAP
(Hotel Sinclairs Bayview; mains ?110-500; 11am-11pm) Right on the water with a lovely cool sea
breeze, the Bayview is a great spot for lunch. While the grilled fish is delicious and the
beer cold, this place is much more about the location than the food. Ask the friendly staff
to show you the Japanese WWII bunkers on the premises. An autorickshaw here costs
?40.
