Reservations
You must make a reservation for all chair-car, sleeper, 1AC, 2AC and 3AC carriages. No
reservations are required for general (2nd class) compartments. Book well ahead for
overnight journeys or travel during holidays and festivals. Waiting until the day of travel to
book is not recommended.
