complex about 800m north of North Canal has a startling array of rooms and cottages in a
large garden: traditional wood-panelled rooms in the main house, several types of lovely
bungalows made from either stone, wood, bamboo or thatch - the best with cathedral ceil-
ings, air-con and flat-screen TV - and a very cool towering tree house. Good food is
served, free bicycles and there's an aviary that even includes an emu.

four cute bamboo cottages, tree houses and a big new two-storey four-room house facing
the lake near the Nehru Trophy Boat Race starting point. Views from the upstairs rooms
with balcony are sweet. It's a bit hard to find: walk past the Keraleeyam resort reception
and along the canal bank.
