KITSCHABAD
Mixed in with Hyderabad's world-class sights are some attractions that err on the quirkier side.
Ramoji Film City ( www.ramojifilmcity.com ; adult/child from ?600/500; 9am-10pm) Andhra Pradesh's film
industry, Tollywood, is massive, and its primary studio is fittingly huge. The 670-hectare Film City produces
films and TV shows in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, among others. The four-hour bus tour will take you through
flimsy film sets and gaudy fountains, stopping for dance routines and stunt shows. Take bus 204A, 205/205A/
205B, 206, 207 or 299 from Koti Women's College (one hour, 20km).
Health Museum MAP GOOGLE MAP (Public Gardens Rd, Nampally; admission free; 10.30am-5pm Sat-
Thu) A throwback to a 1950s classroom, this place has a bizarre collection of medical and public-health
paraphernalia, including a rather terrifying giant model of a crab louse.
Sudha Cars Museum ( www.sudhacars.com ; Bahadurpura; Indian/foreigner ?40/150; 9.30am-6.30pm) The
genius work of Sudhakar includes cars in the shape of a computer, cricket bat, hamburger and condom, among
other wacky designs. Poke your head into the workshop to see his latest project. The museum is east of Nehru
Zoological Park.
