Getting There & Away
From the bus stand, frequent buses run to Gulbarga (?110, three hours), which is connec-
ted to Mumbai and Bengaluru. Buses also go to Hyderabad (?112, four hours), Bijapur
(?260, seven hours) and a 6am bus to Bengaluru (semideluxe/AC ?700/900, 12 hours).
The train station, around 1km southwest of the bus stand, has services to Hyderabad
(sleeper ?120, five hours, three daily) and Bengaluru (sleeper ?280, 17 hours, one daily).
Getting Around
Rent a very basic bicycle at

your proof of identity, or arrange a day tour in an autorickshaw for around ?400.
