Getting There & Away
There are no direct buses from Sravanabelagola to Hassan or Belur - you must go to
Channarayapatna (?41, 20 minutes) and catch an onward connection there. Three daily
buses run direct to Bengaluru (?120, 3½ hours) and Mysore (?80 2½ hours). Long-dis-
tance buses clear out before 3pm. If you miss these, catch a local bus to Channarayapatna
and change there.
A 3pm train heads to Hassan (?7), 48km from Sravanabelagola, for onward travel to
Mysore or Mangalore.
