In-Depth Information
squeaky clean and fresh. The effusive owner is a mine of useful information and can assist
with train reservations and taxi hire.
Hotel Royal Palace
( 2233555; www.hotelroyalpalace.in ; Mahabal Rd, Jai Nagar; s/d incl breakfast from ?2320/2436; ) Lux-
uriant by Jalgaon's standards, the Royal Palace has bland business-hotel rooms that are
adequately comfortable, but don't quite reach the heights promised by the glitzy lobby.
There's also a decent pure-veg, multicuisine restaurant serving north Indian, coastal,
Chinese and Continental fare.

Eating & Drinking
Hotel Arya
(Navi Peth; mains ?55-95; 8.30am-10.50pm) Vegetarian-only grub on offer but it's delicious; try
one of the lip-smacking Punjabi delights. There's also Chinese and South Indian dishes.
It's a short walk south along Station Rd, left at MG Rd, and left at the clock tower. You
may have to queue for a table.
INDIAN $
Silver Palace
(Station Rd; mains ?60-190) This restaurant bar's claims of luxury may be stretching things too
far. But the beer is cold, and females won't feel like they are trespassing on male-only ter-
ritory. It is next door to Hotel Plaza.
BAR
Information

the top of Station Rd.
