Getting There & Away

AIR
The airport is 10km east of town. En route are the offices of Indian Airlines ( 2485241; Jalna
Rd) and Jet Airways ( 2441392; www.jetairways.com ; Jalna Rd) . There are direct daily flights to
Delhi (around ?7000) and Mumbai (around ?4000).

BUS
Buses leave roughly hourly from the MSRTC bus stand MAP GOOGLE MAP (Station Rd West) to
Pune (semideluxe/deluxe/Volvo ?250/270/530, five hours) and Nasik (semideluxe/deluxe
?225/250, five hours). Private bus agents MAP GOOGLE MAP are located around the corner
where Dr Rajendra Prasad Marg becomes Court Rd; a few sit closer to the bus stand. De-
luxe overnight bus destinations include Mumbai (with/without AC ?550/400, sleeper
?750, eight hours), Ahmedabad (seat/sleeper ?550/820, 15 hours) and Nagpur (?450, 12
hours).
Ordinary buses head to Ellora from the MSRTC bus stand every half-hour (?25, 45
minutes) and hourly to Jalgaon (?140, four hours) via Fardapur (?95, two hours). The T-
junction near Fardapur is the drop-off point for Ajanta.
