Haji Ali Juice Centre
(Lala Lajpatrai Rd, Haji Ali Circle; juices & snacks ?30-180; 5am-1.30am)
The Haji Ali Juice folks
know all sweet, tasty things: fresh juices, milkshakes,
falooda
, and - don't miss this -
fruit with fresh cream (the custard apple is so good you'll die). Strategically placed at the
entrance to Haji Ali Mosque, it's a great place to cool off after the pilgrimage.
JUICE BAR

Cafe Noorani
(Tardeo Rd, Haji Ali Circle; mains ?75-275; 8am-11.30pm)
This almost-retro diner is a requisite stop
before or after visiting Haji Ali Mosque. On the menu is the gamut of Mughlai and Punj-
abi staples, all done well and cheap. The chicken tikka biryani (?190) is so good, you'll
forgive a bite or two of gristle.

Neel
( 61577777; Gate No 5 & 6, Mahalaxmi Racecourse; mains ?445-685; noon-3pm & 7pm-midnight)
Funky,
all-white tree-branch interiors and ridiculously beautiful crowds aside, this hip restaurant
and lounge dishes out mostly Awadhi/Northwest Frontier cuisine with creative adjust-
