Installation Directory
HDInsight distribution deploys core Hadoop and the supporting projects to the
C:\apps\dist
directory of the name
node. The folder and directory structure of the components are almost the same as in the Open Source projects to
maintain consistency and compatibility. The directory structure for your name node should look like Figure
6-19
.
