permarket chain, with a number of branches around town. This branch is in the Ginza
Mall in Dōngzhímén.
April Gourmet ( 1st fl, Lianbao Mansion, Xingfucun Zhonglu; 8am-midnight; Dongsi Shitiao) A rival
of Jenny Lou's for the affections of Westerners starved of home cooking, April Gourmet
operates three stores in Běijīng. Its selection isn't quite as extensive as Jenny Lou's, but
the prices are similar. Cheese, fresh bread, butter, wine, sauces, Western soups, coffee,
milk, meats and frozen food are all available. This branch stays open till midnight.
