Rents a range of good quality bikes, including mountain
bikes, road bikes and ordinary city bikes, and runs guided bike tours around the city and
beyond, including trips to the Great Wall. Guides and shop assistants speak English. And it
can also provide you with helmets (¥20), baby seats (¥50), children's trailers (¥100) and
strong bike locks (free). Rental prices are ¥50 to ¥100 per day for the first day, with prices
halving for any subsequent days. Deposits range from ¥600 to ¥800, depending on the bike.
Alternatively, let staff scan a copy of your passport.

Runs
classes in various forms of traditional Chinese martial arts from a historic courtyard near
Wángfǔjǐng shopping district. In summer, typically in August, all classes are held in Rìtán
Park. Has set-time drop-in classes, but can arrange individual schedules too. Instruction is
in Chinese, but with an English translator.

JǏNGSHĀN TABLE TENNIS PARK

This
small exercise park has five free-to-use outdoor table tennis tables, which attract some
pretty hot ping-pong. Only the tables are provided. Players need to bring their own net, bats
and ball. Regulars - all too keen to show foreigners who rules the world when it comes to
table tennis - will almost certainly let you join in using their equipment, but if you fancy a
a cheap table-tennis set, or to Sports Masterpieces, opposite the north gate of Běihǎi Park,
to buy something of better quality.
