Isn't bokashi acidic, and won't it increase the acidity of my soil?
Yes and yes, but only temporarily. The bokashi fermentation process does produce organic acids,
so the adjacent soil will show a rise in acidity right after the bokashi pre-compost is applied. But
within a week the soil web will start to neutralize the acidity and the pH will gradually return to
neutral. So long-term applications will not increase the soil acidity.
