In-Depth Information
The resultant Lactobacillus serum can be stored in two different ways — with or without re-
frigeration.
a. Youcan store the Lactobacillus serum inthe refrigerator inits pureform.Just pourit into
a container and place it in the fridge. The container doesn't have to be airtight. If stored
this way, the pure LAB serum will stay viable for well over one year. I would suggest
using it sooner, but it will last if needed.
b. To store the LAB serum at room temperature without refrigeration, just mix it with equal
parts molasses. Keep this mixture out of direct sunlight and out of extreme temperatures.
Keep the container sealed to keep insects out (it doesn't have to be airtight). If kept in
these conditions, then the mixture will stay viable for well over one year, but sooner use
is suggested.
