simulation and experimental results have demonstrated its excellent performance in quickly
tracking the frequency and the amplitude of the fundamental component of the signal, in
addition to the phase. The response of the SLL is much faster than that of SOGI-PLL, which is
a commonly used synchronisation method for grid-connected inverters. The recovered voltage
is very clean with a very low THD and the detected frequency and amplitude contain very
small ripples. Some guidelines for tuning the parameters of the SLL are also provided.
