In-Depth Information
These conditions are almost impossible to meet in practical applications. A robust droop con-
troller is then presented to obtain accurate proportional load sharing for inverters working in
the stand-alone mode (and naturally also for inverters working in the grid-connected mode).
This strategy does not require the above two conditions to be met in order to achieve accurate
proportional sharing. The strategy is also able to compensate for the voltage drop due to the
load effect and the droop effect and, hence, the load voltage can be maintained within the
desired range around the rated value. Quantitative analysis of the error in power sharing is
carried out thoroughly. Extensive simulation and experimental results are presented.
