8.5 Summary
Based on (Zhong
et al.
2011, 2012c), a voltage control strategy is presented to improve the
voltage quality of inverters. This strategy is equivalent to bypassing the harmonic components
in the load current so that only the fundamental component flows through the inverter. Since
the reference voltage for the inverter output is sinusoidal, no harmonic voltage components
appear on the output voltage in the ideal case. As a result, the voltage quality is improved.
Some guidelines about tuning the parameters are provided, after carrying out stability analysis.
