With the current situation in Yemen it's a very good idea to register with your embassy in
Sanaʻa and enquire about any current security concerns. For those countries without diplo-
matic representation in Yemen (such as Australia, Canada and Ireland), you can register
(via email or online) at your embassy in Riyadh.
Most embassies and consulates open between around 9am and 1pm from Saturday to
Wednesday.
