style cafe appeals to a mostly local crowd with retro charm, friendly service, newspapers
and free wi-fi. A calm spot on busy Khalifa, it's popular for cooked breakfasts, cakes and
sandwiches.

best restaurants in town, this Italian charmer casts its net wide by dividing its menu into
'classic' and 'trendy' dishes, accounting for everything from pizza to scaloppine . The
three-course dinner with wine for Dh140 is a steal. On Saturday, the spacious, marble-
floored room turns into a jumping nightclub after the last fork's been put down.

big, bright eatery with floor-to-ceiling windows certainly covers all the bases. Judging by
what's on the plates of diners, though, the grilled meats are the main reason the place re-
tains its local-fave status.
