of central RAK, this rambling full-service resort resembles a higgledy-piggledy Arab vil-
lage wrapped around a lagoon and borders 600m of magnificent white sandy beach. Avoid
the 'classic room' category if you want a watery view.

of the bobbing yachts of Al Hamra Marina. This upbeat nosh spot also serves excellent
coffees and a small breakfast selection (croissants, omelettes). The access road is off Hwy
E11, opposite Majan Printing.

Locals are fond of this tidy dining room with blue walls, linen table cloths and copious
