Daily Costs
The sky's the limit when it comes to spending money in the UAE, but you can keep ex-
penses down, for example by eschewing the glitzy five-star for a solid midrange hotel
where standard doubles can be had for Dh400 to Dh600. A glass of beer or wine is about
Dh25 or Dh40, respectively, but if you stick to water, you can get a nice three-course meal
for around Dh50, and a shwarma to go costs just Dh4. Museums are free or cheap but ex-
pect to pay Dh150 and up for guided tours and admissions to waterparks and other big at-
tractions.
