Border Crossings
At the time of research there were problems with a number of Saudi border crossings -
the land borders with Iraq, Jordan and Yemen were closed to non-Arab travellers. Check
with your embassy for the latest information.
Make sure you have visas for the countries you wish to enter. And never agree to carry
either passengers (if you're driving) or baggage through borders.
Car & Motorcycle
To avoid traffic queues at busy times (such as during holidays) travel early or late in the
day. All open borders operate 24 hours. If you're driving someone else's car, make sure
you carry a letter granting permission from the owner.
