EATING PRICE RANGES
Throughout this chapter, the following price ranges refer to a standard main course. Unless otherwise stated, ser-
vice charges and taxes are included in the price:

INTERNET ACCESS
Internet cafes are present in larger Saudi towns and are men-only domains outside of Jed-
dah and Riyadh. Connections are generally adequate and cost SR3 to SR10 per hour.
Most four-star and all five-star hotels and many coffeehouses now offer wireless access
if you have your own device.
The internet is strictly policed, with over 6000 sites currently blocked. Most are porno-
graphic, but they also include sites discussing politics, health, women's rights and educa-
