As-Shafa$ MIDDLE EASTERN

serves delicious Saudi/Turkmenistan dishes, including manti (like ravioli; two pieces
SR1.50); it's much admired locally.
Ahlan Wa Sahlan$ TURKISH

1pm-1am) Light, bright and clean, the Ahlan has a great pick-and-point counter containing
fresh Turkish dishes that change daily, including vegie and seafood options.
Getting There & Away
Taif airport ( 685 5527) is 25km north of the town. There are daily flights to/from Riyadh
(SR250) and Dammam (SR400). There are also bus services to Riyadh (SR125, nine
hours, 10 daily), Jeddah (SR40, three hours, 20 daily) and Abha (SR120, eight hours,
three daily).
Getting Around
Taxis charge SR15 for short journeys around town (including to/from the bus station) and
SR45 to the airport. From the airport, they charge SR75.
