Riyadh's hotels fill up during the week with business travellers. Things are quieter at
weekends. Most budget hotels won't accept bookings from non-Arabs.

the rooms aren't large, they are comfortable, well-furnished and squarely aimed at the
modern business traveller. With a lively lobby, a good patisserie, a coffeehouse, and three
reputable restaurants offering a good variety and quality of cuisine including Al-Nakheel
(Arabic) and Da Pino (Italian), it's a popular choice.

The décor here is a little tired, but this is actually not a bad place to
stay. The rooms are well-sized, the staff very friendly and there is no restriction on foreign
women dining in the main restaurant.
