( 23 292382; 23 July St; mains OR1.500-2.500; 11am-3.30pm & 6.30pm-midnight) This atmospheric
venue serves Indian meals and an Arabic-Indian buffet dinner on Thursday. It also has
private dining areas for Omani-style food. Needless to say it is always abuzz with locals

rare opportunity to sample Omani food in a country where going out for dinner usually
means eating Indian cuisine. Eating Omani cuisine is beginning to catch on among region-
al guests, though, and Salalah boasts four branches of Bin Ateeq with two on 23 July St.
